At Beyond the Bump Community Interest Company, we believe that supporting families in those first precious months isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity. Because when mothers thrive, babies flourish.
🌿Our Story
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of supporting thousands of parents through pregnancy, birth, and the early years — helping families to feel confident, connected, and cared for during one of life’s biggest transitions. The impact has been truly phenomenal. We’ve seen first-hand how the right support can transform experiences of pregnancy and parenthood — reducing anxiety, strengthening bonds, and improving wellbeing for both parents and babies.

But we also began to see what was missing.

Behind every success story, there were families we couldn’t reach — parents who faced barriers to accessing care due to poverty, discrimination, mental health challenges, or systemic inequalities. We saw mothers trying to recover and care for their babies without the resources, rest, or community they needed.

That’s why we created Beyond the Bump Community Interest Company (CIC)— to break this cycle.
​
We exist to ensure that every family, regardless of background or income, has access to compassionate, inclusive, and meaningful support from pregnancy through to the early years.
Because early care shouldn’t depend on what a family can afford — it should be a foundation every child and parent can rely on.

The Support We Offer
At Beyond the Bump CIC, we offer fully funded compassionate, inclusive support through every stage of pregnancy and early parenthood — helping families feel confident, connected, and cared for.
​
Referrals for free support can be made in several ways: parents can self-refer, refer a friend or family member, or be referred by a health visitor, GP, midwife, community group, or other professional.
Once we receive a referral, our team will assess each family’s needs and connect them with the services that will provide the most meaningful support — whether that’s emotional wellbeing, practical help, or community connection.
