Paid services must be booked and paid for in advance. Your place is only confirmed once payment has been received in full. We accept payment via the methods shown at checkout.
Payment plans: Where payment plans are offered, you agree to complete all scheduled payments. Failure to complete a payment plan may result in access to the service being suspended.
Free services: Our free community sessions and funded support are subject to availability. Booking a free place does not guarantee attendance if capacity is reached. We will always do our best to accommodate everyone.
Section 05
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation by you:
More than 14 days before the session or course start date — full refund minus any processing fees
7–14 days before the start date — 50% refund
Less than 7 days before the start date — no refund, but your place may be transferred to a future date at our discretion
Cancellation by Beyond the Bump: In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a session we will provide as much notice as possible and offer a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date.
Digital products and online courses: Due to the nature of digital content, once access has been granted to an online course or downloadable resource, refunds cannot be provided. If you have a concern about digital content please contact us and we will do our best to help.

Birth Trauma Therapy: Cancellations for 1:1 therapy sessions require a minimum of 48 hours notice. Late cancellations may be charged at the full session rate.
We understand that life with a new baby is unpredictable. If exceptional circumstances arise — illness, birth, or a family emergency — please contact us and we will always try to find a fair solution.
Section 06
Your responsibilities
When using our services you agree to:
Provide accurate and truthful information when booking or completing forms
Treat our staff, facilitators, and other participants with respect and kindness
Arrive on time to in-person sessions where possible
Not record, share, or reproduce session content without our written permission
Not share login details for online courses with others — course access is for the named purchaser only
Inform us of any relevant health conditions or circumstances that may affect your participation
We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw access to any service where these responsibilities are not met, without refund where appropriate.
Section 07
Health and safety
For in-person sessions you attend at your own risk. You are responsible for ensuring you and your baby are fit and well enough to attend. Please do not attend if you or your baby are unwell.
Our facilitators are not medical professionals and cannot provide medical advice. Any health concerns should be directed to your midwife, health visitor, or GP.
For Birth Trauma Resolution Therapy, Melissa is a trained and accredited therapist. Therapy sessions are conducted in line with the ethical guidelines of the Royal College of Midwives and the Human Givens Institute of Psychotherapy.
