Why this space exists
Sometimes you do not need information or activities. You just need to say out loud that you are struggling — and have someone hear it
Held & Connected exists because not every form of support looks like a class or a course. Sometimes what you need is a warm room, a small group of people who are not going to tell you it gets easier, and the permission to just be honest about where you are right now

What to expect
A small, intimate group a safe size where every person feels seen and heard
Space to share as much or as little as you want — never any pressure to speak
warm, experienced, and completely non-judgemental throughout
No agenda — the session follows where the group genuinely needs it to go that week
This walk is for you if...
-
You are struggling and you need somewhere safe to say that out loud without being fixed
-
You feel like everyone else is coping better than you and you need to know you are not alone
-
You want genuine connection but you cannot face a large, busy, or noisy group right now
-
You need to be seen, not advised, not encouraged, not told what to do — just genuinely seen

My wife and I attended antenatal classes here, and the experience was highly informative. From a birthing partner’s perspective, the learning should not be overlooked, I took many of the lessons into our own journey, and they really paid off.
Go in with an open mind. You may not agree with every approach or ideal, but they are presented to challenge your thinking, not to suggest there is only one “right” way. Vicky, who led the sessions, is very open about this.
Highly recommended.

We have now completed both the Antenatal courses and the Baby massage with Beyond the Bump and have loved both. Vicky and Melissa are so friendly and helpful and the information provided during the sessions is non-bias and greatly for first time parents. We have made a great group of friends from our course and can't wait for future play sessions! Would highly recommend
