Module 1: Rewriting Birth Preparation Preparing for birth can feel overwhelming. There’s so much information online, so many opinions, and so much focus on what birth should look like, that many parents are left wondering how to actually prepare in a way that feels useful. This session is designed to help you feel calmer, clearer and more confident preparing for birth in today’s maternity system. Rather than focusing on a 'perfect' birth, we explore how to approach birth feeling informed, involved in decisions and emotionally prepared for the reality that birth can unfold in many different ways. Whether this is your first baby or you’re preparing for birth again after a previous experience that left you feeling unsettled, this session will help you move away from fear, uncertainty and overwhelm - and towards feeling more capable of navigating birth as it unfolds. Feeling prepared for birth isn’t about controlling every outcome.
