Service Description

Module 4: Caesarean Birth Caesarean birth is one of the most common ways babies are born today - yet many people still reach the end of pregnancy feeling frightened of it, confused by it, or completely unprepared for what it actually involves. This session is designed to help remove fear of the unknown and replace it with clarity, understanding and confidence. Whether you’re planning a caesarean, preparing for the possibility of one, or processing a previous caesarean experience, this session helps you understand how caesarean birth can still feel calm, informed, connected and deeply positive. We’ll explore how to feel more involved in decisions, how to prepare emotionally as well as physically, and how to approach both surgery and recovery feeling more supported and less overwhelmed. Because a caesarean birth is the baby of your baby - and understanding your options beforehand can completely change how the experience feels. This session helps you move away from fear, shame or uncertainty, and towards feeling calmer, more informed and more able to approach birth with confidence whatever path it takes. To help make our courses accessible to all families, places are offered on a mixed-pricing basis: • Funded Place (£1 contribution) • Pay What You Can Place (50% of the standard fee) • Standard Place – supports the sustainability of the programme and helps fund subsidised places for local families 🎁 Attend this module individually, or join the complete 6-session Birth Preparation Programme using the Birth Preparation Programme Pass for £179. Those attending the complete Birth Preparation Programme will also receive access to a bonus resource library designed to help you feel even more prepared, informed and supported throughout pregnancy and birth. Including: Bonus videos on: - VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean Section) - Hypnobirthing - Birthing as a neurodivergent woman A practical birth toolkit including: - Coping strategies for labour - Birth mapping - the only way to create a 'birth plan' - Labour and birth positions These resources are designed to support you beyond the live sessions, giving you practical tools and guidance you can return to throughout pregnancy and birth preparation.
